Native macOS app

Audio transport over any network, peer-to-peer and low-latency.

Send and receive up to 128 channels of low-latency audio between your Macs — across the open internet or on a local network. Works with any Core Audio device,
including Dante Virtual Soundcard.

  • macOS 14+ · Apple Silicon & Intel
  • Audio is direct — never relayed
  • No connection limit

Direct audio between your Macs.

OD Link connects your Macs directly over IP. Every connection runs both ways, and one Mac can hold many connections at once — route audio between rooms, machines, and sessions however you need. On each Mac, pick a capture and a playback device, patch your channels, and it flows straight between them over UDP. No extra hardware, no cloud to trust, no monthly bill. Built for studios, live sound, broadcast, and remote sessions.

The app

Your whole patch in one window.

Pick your audio device, then map inputs to the link — auto-patch 1:1 or set crosspoints by hand. Live input meters, with per-connection latency and mode, all in one view.

Transmit — patch your inputs to the link, auto or by hand, with live meters, mode and latency
Receive — patch incoming channels to your output, auto or by hand, with per-connection buffer

How it works

Three steps to a live connection.

01

Install on every Mac

Download OD Link and open it on each Mac. On first launch, allow Microphone (to capture audio) and Local Network access when macOS asks.

02

Connect

On each Mac, add a connection to the other and enter its IP — or, with a Pro or Performance license, turn on UDP Match to connect by name, with no IP to exchange.

03

Patch & play

Pick your capture and playback devices, patch the channels (auto or by hand), and the audio flows straight between your Macs.

Why OD Link

Built for people who can't afford a dropout.

Direct, never relayed

Audio is pure peer-to-peer UDP. It never touches any servers — lower latency, and your sound stays between your machines.

Pay once, own it

A perpetual license, not a subscription. No monthly fee, no cloud login.

Rides out packet loss

Error correction, retransmission, and an adaptive receive buffer absorb the hiccups any real network throws — so a lost packet doesn't become a dropout.

Fits your rig

Works with any Core Audio device — your interface, an aggregate, or Dante Virtual Soundcard — up to 128 channels.

Questions

The short answers.

Does my audio go through your servers?

No. Audio is always direct, peer-to-peer UDP between your Macs. It is never relayed through us or any third party.

Is it a subscription?

No. Every license is perpetual — you pay once and own that version forever.

How many Macs can I use one license on?

One or two Macs depending on the license you choose, and you can move a license between your own Macs anytime.

Do I need a public IP or port forwarding?

For a direct internet connection, yes — or use UDP Match (Pro and Performance licenses) to connect by name. On a LAN it just works.
